Decent experience 12/12/2005

Sci Port should be a good place for kids. It is a decent outing. Sometimes the IMAX shows some decent shows. Sometimes, horrible shows are shown instead for up to 10 bucks a pop. As far as the actual science area of sci port goes, don't expect too much. It's nice, but judging from the outside it appears as though it is Disney World, but what you find is the county fair. From a visitor's perspective, it appears to be run sloppy and some of the employees do not seem like the best choice to be teaching other science. Nevertheless, it is a decent outing. more

Excellent rainy day activity 8/20/2005

Or hot/cold day too. Large facility, theatre component costs extra but is worth paying for if you have the time. Interactive exhibits everywhere--for you and the kids. ever-changing displays so no two visists are ever the same. The snack bar is convenient and they have a nice gift-shop too. There are events daily--from robots to static electricity shows and everything in between. more

Great for kids 8/8/2005

If you are needing a place to let your kid run around and learn, then this is for you. They have great projects and many learning tools for all ages. This is mainly kid oriented but it getting better by the day. There is an i max theater for the adults to enjoy. There are also many exhibit and live shows to get everyone interested and asking good questions. more

I love taking the kids to Sci-Port. There are all sorts of activities to do to keep them busy. And the biggest plus is that they are learning at the same time. It really is a fun experience for the whole family. Not just the kids. I have been there on more than one occasion and will definetly be returning. more

Nice for Kids 7/7/2005

This Place is great to take the entire Family to on a rainy Day or even a sunny day that is too hot here for outside activities. They have allot of Indoor Activities for everyone. Kids will learn allot and get a insider look on how some things work (Heart, Lungs, Lights and so much more). Also have special things where they have Employees showing things or building things. Great play area too. more

Fun 6/16/2005

Wonderful place to take the family for a day of fun!! They have stuff for every age group. I would definitly recommend this to anyone that is looking for something fun to do. more
