Dr. Schweitzer is one of the best doctors in the area. He is very thorough and doesn't rush through any appointments. His is kind and really seems like he cares about his paitients. I have seem him give out sample medications to paitients that have said that they are on fixed incomes or have no insurance. He will go above and beyond of what he has to do to find out what the problem is with referrals to testing facilities or by referring you to other doctors. I have always been given an appointment on the same day when I was sick and at times Dr. Schweitzer will get right on the phone when I call for him! He is very convenient to the hospital with it being right across the street from his office so it is very convenient if you have to go for testing or blood work. Front Office staff is very rude as well as his assistant. They always seem to be stressed out. Hours are good with the doctor being there every day with a half day on Wednesday. Parking can be a problem with the lot being full most of the time.
