We wasted MONTHS trying to list and our property was never put on MLS!!!
We have vacant lakeside property in the greater Oshkosh area to sell. We decided to go with First Weber because we had such a good experience with our First Weber agent in Milwaukee selling our house. Apples and oranges!
We sent all of our info to the agent (Ken Tritt). He was very bad about communication. Practically every email and call went unanswered. In May we sent emails asking what was going on with the land? It was important to have it listed during the peak summer season. When we FINALLY got a call back after complaining to the manager, he lied and told us a sign has been up the whole time. Long story short, we were lied to repeatedly (the rare times we ever had communication returned.) No sign was every put up, IT WAS NEVER EVEN LISTED ON MLS after months of inquiries!
Finally this month I requested a cancellation of the contract when I was FINALLY able to get one of the owners/managers (Gail and Dennis Schwab) to return my call.
I told Dennis Schwab about the ineffectiveness of the agent, and how it was baffling, since we had such a good experience with our Milwaukee First Weber agent. He was very smug and said one agent was not a whole agency and that they weren't first in Oshkosh for nothing. He offered to transfer us to a different agent, but it's not just the agent that was problematic. We copied Gail and Dennis Schwab on a number of our emails that were desperate pleas for information. No progress made! So for 3 months when our land would have been looked at by boaters and vacationers, it sat unlisted as we paid for maintenance of the landscape. SO FRUSTRATING!
