Capabilities are inferior to desired results or at least results which we were told to expect. Employees seem to be in poor morale and machinery is old with the premises in less than desireable condition. Management has established excuses why they cant meet standard requests with a ""Well get better as we go along"" mentality. While we did not attempt to compare this operation to other machining shops in the area we found oursleves ""wanting"" to leave the premises as soon as possible. We had our own feelings as to WHY this operation is in such poor condition and why the employees and machinery are in poor condition, but the end result is that we will not consider this operation for any work, let alone parts that might be close in tolerance. When we spoke about On Time Delivery, this measurement was only a goal to this operation with no specific comparisons, or for that matter concern. To cut this review short, we simply felt this operation to be one of the best at making excuses, and one of the worst in expected positive results, actually a waste of time and consideration. One observatiion that both of us came back with was that that management at this operation even knocked their current cusomer base which was a turn off for us. There are too many other operations, larger in the the Quad city area that are more professional and deserving of receivingwork. Employees complained of machines always breaking down, and that they wanted more pay. We were glad to leave
