School Japanse Restaurant

I really enjoy dining at School, but my husband's love of the place prompted this particular review. We're both pretty open to trying new places, but there are times he just wants a meaty, manly, familiar-to-him meal. School's selection allows both of us to be happy on these occasions--in addition to their wonderfully interesting dishes we both love--without either feeling we've even had to compromise. Not to mention there aren't that many restaurants in town offering pork belly! Yummm. more

I really like this restaurant . I like seafood a much and whenever i have a free time i spend my very good time here. Thanks for their services and taste. If anyone want to have a glorious free time then why not spend here. I really enjoy when i'm here. Love this cafe a lot. more

I moved to Lexington a year ago and have tried all the sushi restaurants and had been very disappointed up until I tried School Restaurant. The sushi is amazing! I love the fact that they also have the katien style (ready sushi dishes on the conveyor belt around the tables). You can also order from their menu. One of the chefs studied french cuisine and so they also have a french menu. I tried to escargot. Very delicious. If you love sushi, you will not be disappointed. It seems to be busy always so make sure you make a reservation if you plan to get the sushi from the conveyor belt as not all tables connected to it.
