Schneider's Of Capitol Hill 3/22/2006

I like this place because it has an extensive wine list. This is a great place for a novice wine drinker and a wine aficionado. The wine list here is great, but don’t be worried because the staff here is great. If you are uncomfortable or have any questions just ask your server. They are a wealth of knowledge. more

As soon as you walk in to Schneiders on Mass Ave NE near the Senate office buildings on Capitol Hill, you're liable to get trampled by staff eager to help you find just what you're looking for. But don't let this turn you away. This store is known around DC as having some of the most knowledgeable staff in town on the ups and downs of wines from around the world. And the prices are as reasonable as you're going to find anywhere. more
