Called Schmidt Mechanical with a/c problems. Keith came out gave a quote witch was a great price. Put in unit and found duct work that was separated and fixed it for no charge. Job completed and I am satisfied. Thank you Keith more

My A/C was not cooling called Schmidt tech, Bryan came out said my compressor had short to ground.. it was dead... quoting ( like a dead baby in a box ) I was shocked..... he cut my wire so ( in his words ) my house would not catch fire. Said I needed a new unit ....instantly started quoting me price for a new unit. $3810.84 . after leaving my house 1 1/2 later his supervisor comes knocking at my door to discuss financing options.... I was in tears.... A friend recommened another Co. , I call them the gentleman came out ..... $260.00 later my unit was fixed. SCHMIDT MECHANICAL tried to scam me.... very disappointed.. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau . more

24/7 service is a false statement!!!! This a is the 3rd issue we've had with a $16000 new unit in less than a year. The owner, Keith Schmidt, gave me his cell phone number the last time with assurances to call him if anything was needed. 5 phone calls to him and another 5 to his answering service....nope...not one callback from Keith or a technician. So ... If you, Mr. Keith Schmidt, owner of Schmidt Mechanical, stand behind your word, why didn't you, come out and assist with our issues with our $16,000. AC unit purchased from you just a little over a year ago in July 2015!! If you didn't have a technician to facilitate the on call service as stated throughout your advertisement, then "man up" as the OWNER of SCHMIDT MECHANICAL, don't hide behind an answering service... OWN IT.. After all.. It is YOUR COMPANY! more

Johnny G. Came out for or maintenance work. He was on time, personable, knowledgeable, and worked quickly. We had a few minor issues that needed to be addressed. He explained the issues to us, and fixed them on the spot. The prices were fair and the service was great! We are customers for life! more

We had issues with our AC. Schmidt offered same day and/or next day availability. The tech was professional and genuinely concerned in addressing our issues. The pricing for a replacement part was high, but when added to a low service call fee, the overall service cost seemed to be competitive with other companies. more

Called them on Friday, early afternoon. They said they couldn't get to me until Monday afternoon. $60 diagnostic charge to come out. I had no heat in my gas furnace. Over the weekend, I found a red light blinking 6 times. Chart on furnace said it meant that the "electrical polarization was reversed". Monday afternoon repair man shows up. I tell him what I found about the 6 blinks of the red light. He looks everything over and says I need a new thermostat. I asked if there was a way for him to confirm that? He looks around some more and says "these wires here were reversed, it should work fine". It was fixed. He goes out to his truck and comes back and says "that will be $134!" I said "WHAT?" It had been 30 minutes since he arrived and he misdiagnosed it at first - after I had correctly diagnosed it, then tells me it was $60 to diagnose and $75 to "FIX"! The diagnosis WAS the fix. I wasn't given an option to spend $75 more to fix it. more

Quincy has come to the clinic the past couple of months to do our maintenance, he is curteous and polite and very efficient. Thumbs up! more

Had to call Schmidt on Labor day because my A/C was not working properly. The technician Quincy was there in just over an hour and got my system working properly in under an hour. With service that good on a major holiday I am now a customer for life! more

I had Rusty out at my house yesterday and by far he was one of the most nicest men I have ever let come into my house and work on any thing I own. My a/c unit was not working properly when he showed up and by the time he left I was feel the cool air already. I would recommend Schmidt to anyone I know or meet. They were able to come out quicky and take care of our problem and get my house cool again. Keep up the great work Rusty and Schmidt Mechanical!!! more

When my ac went out I called several companies they all said the same thing, you need a new system and then, I call Schmidt (yes my little brother) But he came out and told me the same thing, two other companies left me quotes and they where higher priced for cheaper system. So I had Schmidt install the system and after a couple of minor adjustments it is cooling great. The Trane XR17 Heat pump system is really quiet and Rusty was right it is a energy saving system. all the guys at Schmidt where great. Steve and Jr did a great install and cleaned up after themselves. Thanks to all of the Schmidt team, I will always recommend them more

Great Customer Service from Susan who answered the phone and professionally scheduled our service, and then on short notice rescheduled our service after a personal scheduling problem, to Quincy, the service technician, who showed up on time, and who was professional and courteous in handling our entire service call. Quincy professionally explained concerns about our HVAC unit so that we could easily understand current needs, and future needs down the road. He also took time to crawl up into our small attic, on a day that was 100 degrees outside, and must have been over 150 in our attic to carefully assess our aging duct work system. Great Job Schmidt...I would definitely have you back to service our HVAC, and will definitely refer you to our family and friends!!! more
