I visited H.P. Schmaltz shortly after it opened for the first time, and I fell in love. Since then, they've opened another store in the Western Suburbs - finally! There are so man...

Get the Sloppy Paul!!! (with Pastrami) 6/4/2006

Wow... these guys are great... The best New York feel outside of New York. The sandwiches are HUGE. You will not go away hungry. There are also other "New York" staples (such as bagels that are flown in from New York... I think daily) There is a small eat-in area where you can have lunch. I have had almost everything on the menu... you really can not go wrong. more
