I cant' believe this place can stay in business with allthe bigger drugstore chains around. They must have a big following... and for good reason. I've only been there a few times...

Rude Pharmacy Tech 1/16/2014

I encountered a pharmacy tech by the name of Lisa who is lacking customer service skills. I have been to this pharmacy several times and each time I was treated with respect. I am a retired Banking Executive who was dressed down and went to pick up a prescription called in by my daughter. I should also say my son is a young Pediatric Harvard trained surgeon. Perhaps it was my race, but I have never encountered anyone that rude at a pharmacy. This was certainly a bad experience and I reported her to a gentleman there who just bowed is head and said okay. I hope they take action with this Lisa person. Her personality is that of a dish rag. more

SCHAEFER PHARMACY 5/4/2012

The only good thing I can say about this place are their prices. Outside of this, the pharmacy consistantly says they never receive prescription requests from my doctor yet I am standing there when the Dr's assistant sends it. Waste a lot of time driving all the way to this place for them not to have your script. The main reason I really don't care for this place is the pharmacist. He is a red haired gentleman that seems to have let his ego run the place. I say this because he was talking to a phar. tech and told her that hormones are not a required medication for any aliment so I could not get a discount. Ok, you might think I'm upset over no discount but that is not the case. My doctor prescribed them for a reason and you sir are no doctor! I am a graduate chemist and understand how medication and chemicals work in the body and if a Dr prescribes them then they are needed. A pharmacist is required to memorize a large volume of drugs/chemicals and their interactions with other drugs but are not trained to diagnose or prescribe drugs for a reason. My suggestion to this pharmacist would be to study recent developments in the drug community on hormone disorders before he thinks he can tell someone that is just as educated and more educated in this area that what I was prescribed by a REAL DOCTOR are or aren't required! Another suggestion would be to publish your credentials anywhere in the store - do you even have a license? Nothing on the web! Maybe in your spare time instead of stroking your ego you could study recent research and have the knowledge to back up what you may tell someone - idiot! more

I cant' believe this place can stay in business with allthe bigger drugstore chains around. They must have a big following... and for good reason. I've only been there a few times, but each time, I have been treated with kindness and courtesy. The people who work there seem to know what they're talking about and care about what they're doing. more

Good old fashioned drug store 8/21/2005

It's refreshing to see that there is the good old neighborhood drug store that cares about your perscriptions and your individual needs. This drug store is the only place where I can get one of my Rx's. It's a drive for me, but I guess you gotta do... They also sell stuff like at a 5 and 10 store... souveniers, cards, stationery, etc. Lots of stuff to look at in case you have to wander aimlessly while waiting for your script to get filled. I recommend this pharmacy. more
