I spent a few months in Parshall, ND, and ate at the Scenic 23 more times than I can count. It was such a nice place to eat. The staff was always so friendly. I don't think I ever had a bad meal there. There is a bar attached that can make a mean margarita. I did have to wait for a seat a few times, but it wasn't so bad. I would say it's the best place to eat around there, but I think it's the only place...but that makes it even better.\r more

Scenic 23 is the best diner. 8/4/2006

They will even prepare your fresh caught fish to serve to you. It is 1 mile North of Old Van Hook. Caters to families. Good Norwegian style cooking. Friendly courteous service even when they are swamped with cooustomers. Resteraunt usually has a 45 minute wait for service between 5:30 PM and 7 PM but the wait is well worth it. \r Best on the menue is the Pork Chop dinner. Twice what I could eat in one sitting. Pros: ample parking great chef & wait staff Cons: even with the new addition, there are to many coustomers at dinner time. more
