Helpful, friendly people. Good equipment & a beautiful place to kayak. We're beginners - there was a safe area for us to paddle and learn. There's also areas for more advanced to paddle. Saw bald eagles, otters, evidence of beavers, lots of ducks, herons,etc. A fun, relaxing yet outdoor activity. The 1st time we went out we had a guide, the 2nd time just us. No problems. more

Helpful, friendly staff and great location 9/29/2008

I took my first kayak trip ever at Scappoose Bay Kayak. They were friendly, helpful, easy to talk to and they encourage everyone at any level or experience to get on the water. I have been back many times and because of them I own my own kayak now. Would recommend to anyone interested in getting into the sport. Fantastic people. Pros: Knowledgeable staff, friendly, parking is great, location is great more
