Don't Buy Here - Misrepresentations 4/8/2010

We purchased a sofa in August with a promised delivery in November. We were told we had to order because the floor model was not for sale. We were told we would get a sofa equipped just like the floor model. We paid a deposit and waited. Pros: Cordial at point of Sale Cons: Misrepresentations, Poor communications, Callous attitude more

would not wait on me because of skin color 6/10/2008

I walked into the store nicely dressed, fancy shoes, long wavy hair neatly done and all I got were looks; no hello no how can I help you, nothing! I walked around the entire store with no one offering to help me. A woman walked in behind me and immediately I heard "Hello, how are you doing today? Can I help you!" The difference is I was black and she was white. She was just looking and I was trying to furnish a 5,000 square foot home. I found furniture for each of the 10 rooms that needed furnishing. I bought nothing there and never will. In today's society I cant not believe that people still judge other by their skin color. Pros: none Cons: would not wait on me more
