Best

This is my favorite Austin Mexican Restaurant. The menu is unique, all the various sauces are outstanding, and the corn tortillas are the best I've had around here.

Authentic Mexican North of the Border 11/15/2006

I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner on several occasions at Sazon, and I am extremely impressed with the selection of traditional Mexican dishes. The food is always fresh and the spices and sauces are rich and flavorful. You have to try one of the mole selections they offer. In addition to the great food, the wait staff is courteous and offer prompt service. more

My New Favorite! 10/24/2006

This blink-and-you'll-miss-it restaurant on South Lamar is a delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant where affordable meals can be found without sacrificing on quality or taste. Don't be put off by the exterior - this one can't be missed. Everything is very clean on the inside. The waitstaff is fantastic and the food is to die for! more

Great Food and Waitstaff! 10/19/2006

In my experience the enchiladas are reason enough to go. When I want a nice fix of good old Mexican comfort food this is the kind of place I love to find. Be sure to get a Mexican Martini, they give some of the local Tex-Mex restaurants a run for their money! more

Delicious! 10/4/2006

I've come to Sazon on several occasions and have been consistently impressed with the quality of food and the service I receive. The menu is large and there are a lot of items to choose from. I love their Enchiladas Suizas and can't pass up one of their Mexican Martinis! Definitely worth trying out if you love authentic Mexican food! more

Excellent lunch, small price 8/15/2002

I've been going to Mexico Lindo for a couple years now. They have great food, especially for lunch -- it's always hot & fresh and the service is very personal and friendly. The salsa is quite tasty (and hot). For $4.75, you can get a lunch plate with an entree, rice, and beans, including drink. No worries on tea refills -- their glasses are huge. Their beef enchiladas are the best, but other plates are good, too. Although you can probably find better atmosphere, you'd probably have to pay twice as much for the food you get. Pros: very inexpensive, friendly service, excellent food Cons: so-so atmosphere more
