My first visit to sawa was last week. Been there twice already. \r Great Sushi and Tapas. Great Garden Terrace. Drinks packed a punch. \r Propably the coolest Hookah Lounge with Great Music. more

This is the least classiest place in such an upscale mall. What type of "sushi restaurant" that calls its self upscale would serve ARTIFICIAL CRAB MEAT? If I want class and real sushi I can just cross the street. \r \r Not the best place to go for peaceful/GOOD dinner. Let's not even go to the fact that they allow minors to sit at the bar. Isn't that illegal? more

AWFUL experience ! I made a reservation on a Tuesday for a table on the following Saturday, when I got there guess what? They couldn't find my reservation and the manager started asking who did I talk to and if I got a confirmation number ! What? Never heard of that for a reservation in a restaurant! Well they got us a table 40 min later and the service just sucks! Lucky us because we could go across the street to the Villagio and there we got service the way it should be! If you can't handle a simple reservation over the phone that indicates you should be out of business ! Never again more

I had the Chicken Kebab, a dish that was truly juicy and tender, seasoned with some really appetizing spices and accompanied by Garlic Aioli. The basmati rice it came with was also full of taste, the basil and pine nuts adding crunch and substance, but the rice was a bit on the dry side. more

My husband and I went and waited 45 minutes for our food. We were told many items on the menu were not available. We both ended up with food posioning a few hours later and it was miserable. This place should close down! more

Hate it. Waited close to an hour for not very good food. I started to feel sick right after I left and became violently ill the rest of the day. I felt like I wanted to die. I don't think it was just coincidence. more

Too much hype for nothing!! Kitchen cannot keep up with service!! One hour waiting for food and the answer was "maybe another 15 min, there is nothing i can do!!" plain disrespect with the customers!!! more

The food was not that great. The pita bread was cold; not toasted. The grape leaves were sub-standard in my opinion. I ordered a caipirinha which tasted awful. The service was terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. more

I had my birthday party at Sawa and was treated like a princess. The staff went out of their way to make my special day, exceptional. The tapas are a wonderful and the drinks packed a punch! I'm a bloody mary lover and there's nothing worse than ordering a bloody mary that's not bloody! \r \r The ambiance was sublime with lounge music, couches and hookah on steroids. I had such a wonderful time, I've brought friends to experience it for themselves. \r \r If your in the Gables, don't miss it! more

Stumbled into sawa with my boyfriend my best friend and her husband while shopping at the village of merrik park at around 6:30 pm. We figured we would have an early dinner and go catch a movie. We sat outside & ordered some martinis (nutellatini is a must) & some tapas.\r \r Never did we think we would have the most amazing time, the atmosphere, the lounge music, the food, the sushi (Try the kamikaze Roll). We ordered 4 more tapas (grilled calamari yummy) and some Kebabs (scallop Kebab delish) . We smoked hookah and ordered three or four more martinis and at around 11 pm we decided to leave enventhough i wanted to stay work tomorow ughh. \r \r It was such a good experience that all of us wanted to take credit for choosing the place. Sawa has got good energy and great vibe a place to hang out and really chill. And who ever the chef is "congratulations". Keep doing what your doing.\r \r See you next week... more

Sawa is a great place, The food is amazing from tapas, to Kebabs, to sushi. I had an amazing time, it is a great place to spend with the family, friends or have a nice date. I loved it. Everyone was so nice and their lounge area is gorgeous... You have to check the place out !! more

Food was absolutely delicious! I was fortunate to get to try some of the newest happy hour martinis and they were amazing! I was told they would be lauching it in a few weeks and I couldn't be more excited. This is definitely my new favorite hang out. From sitting in the lounge smoking hookah and munching on tapas, to enjoying a drink at the bar watching a basketball game- my experience has been great. I'm always greeted with a smile and the service couldn't be any better. It's a must to check this place out.. more
