I went their for breakfast. Something they served was bad and I got food poisioning from it. When I called them to let them know something was spoiled, they were very rude to me...

This place is great! It's like walking into a restaurant in rural France. It's run by a 70 something classically trained French chef Roget and his wife Nicole (Jack was the old owner) who are there because they just love to cook and don't want to retire. This is four star fare at very reasonable prices. Everything is made fresh to order. If service seems a little slow that is beause everything is prepared from scratch. It's quality over quickness. Try the eggs benedict - you won't be disappointed! more

Friendly Service and Great Omlette 5/29/2010

Very friendly, quick service this morning and the specialized omelette I ordered couldn't have been tastier. Chef Jack in his chef attire with tall hat even came out to show me the omelette before I took it to go. It was like a work of art. more

Great little family owned restaurant 9/5/2009

I go to Savvy Jack's all the time because it's within short walking distance from my home. From what I can gather it's a small husband-wife run establishment with maybe one or two other employees (likely related; all French) at most. Food poisioning from the food. 8/23/2008

I went their for breakfast. Something they served was bad and I got food poisioning from it. When I called them to let them know something was spoiled, they were very rude to me and called me a liar. Pros: They serve coffee. Cons: You may get sick from the food and they won't care. more

Poor Service, and a Bratwurst isnt my idea of a breakfast sausage. 8/21/2008

We went last Sunday (17th Aug - 11.30am) for Breakfast/Lunch and ordered a basic eggs/ homefries & sausage - with coffee. We got the coffee quite quickly but had to wait 30 minutes for the breakfast to arrive. During this 30 minutes we did get coffee refills, but had to specifically ask - I think a more attentive waitress should have kept a more watchfull eye on what was going on. Pros: Thumbs Down Cons: Poor Service more

Great food, great services, just like being at home! 10/4/2007

Recommended by one of our girlfriends, we decided to gather for lunch for a group of us six. What a great place to catch up and have a great lunch! The service was fenomenal and the food was delicious. It almost felt as if we were getting together in one of our houses! Very friendly atmosphere and wonderful cooking. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend it, though I agree with previous reviews....we should keep it a secret!! Great onion soup and yummy spinach quiche! Two thumbs up! We enjoy this cozy friendly place for brunch on our way to Busch Gardens.Family owned restaurant. Very good food, you won't be desapointed. We can eat outside and it s great for the kids.
