Chinese Italian 12/30/2005

I think this place might be a mutation of the hong kong style cafes that populate the san gabriel valley. I don't really know. They do serve pasta and pizza, all very very good. Compared to Italian places, I'd say the "Italian" fare here are a bit more spiced up and heavier in taste. Actually, even more importantly, this place serves probably the best hainam rice and chicken (a singaporean dish, I think) in town. They also serve a few curry dishes, sangria grape soda, and creme brulee. The place is quite small and bustling, and while there is usually a line, you usually don't have to wait an obscene amount of time which is surprising considering how popular this place is. more

Very good pizza ! 10/4/2005

wow when i came to this resturant i was surprised as i live not too far from this resturant. i was surprised that this local chinese resturant was serving pizza. as i ordered a garlic pizza it was very fresh and pretty tasty. wow that was good but i'll order to go since that resturant is very hectic. will come back again... more

Good Pizza 9/29/2005

I love thier pizzas. They have some really good toppings and the size is reasonable. I thought the place was a little chaotic though. A whole of people kind of go there especially in the night time. Delivery for this place is non-acceptable. You either eat there or go somewhere else. They should really do deliveries. Oh well, I'm not a big fan of their pasta. You should try the pizza, it's a lot better. more

Pizza Place 9/24/2005

They have some really good pizza here. Their toppings are pretty good but I wish it was less expensive. I went in there with a couple of friends and I was really hungry at that time. So of course it tasted delicious! But it's not as great as I would like it to be though. When I went in there the second time not being hungry, I thought it tasted kind of weird. Their pasta is actually better than the pizza. more

The chicken 8/9/2005

Wow. That is all I can say about this restaurant. The mix of Chinese flavor and Italian taste is almost too good to be true. While it may be just a tiny corner store, the food inside makes up for the cramped spaces inside. I highly recommend the “Hainan chicken”, which is the specialty dish of the store. more

Great Hainam Chicken! 8/6/2005

Don't let the name fool you, this place serves pizza and classic vietnamese dishes. This place is always crowded. I recommend the hainam chicken, it's excellent. Parking is limited to street parking. The eating area is small indoors but they offer a nice patio area seating, hopefully it's not too hot. Great place to eat or get take out. There can be a wait especially for dinner. more
