We went here by recommendation of a friend for Restaraunt Week, and were certatinly ""Wow-ed"". It's a litlte hidden in a old strip mall in Encinitas, but walk in and you'll feel quite comfortable with and an urban, traditional feel. Great service, and you pay for what you get. It's not cheap, but you get amazing food, service, and a wonderful wine selection. I think everyone we were with loved their entree the best, and we all gushed over out food. I had the blue-cheese crusted filet, and it was mouth-watering. Just when we thought it couldn't get tastier-they brought out dessert. Their infamous apple tart was pretty amazing, but I think we all agree it was the butterscotch pear-pot took the cake!
Pros: Ambiance, menu, wine
Cons: Bring your wallet!
