Saveurs is c'est magnifique tastebud heaven! They catered a friend's dinner party recently and we all went temporarily insane with joy over the delicious dishes served up by authentic French Chef Jean Christophe, he cooked right in front of us! Each dish was unique and superb and delightful. A couple days later I looked up the Saveurs website and discovered that they deliver to an expanded Hollywood area, so I ordered 3 dishes when my sister visited, she wanted to be critical but even she had only superlatives for the food. Fantastic dining experiences both times, looking forward to the next. Pros: The most delicious dining in Los Angeles or California or maybe the world. Cons: There are no cons. more

My company was hosting a private business dinner were we'd be showing our product to a select number of potential buyers. We knew we didn't want to just rent a room in a restaurant and take out chances. For the expense versus for what we'd get, we weren't sure we'd have the privacy and quality control.\r \r I heard about Saveurs from a friend of mine and decided to host the event at a private house with a elegant setting. Not only did Saveurs help me find the right house, but the chef, J.C., designed the perfect menu. We wanted great food and wine but we also wanted the food not to take away from the product presentation (spaghetti would take too much effort to eat and take out Chinese would be too cheesy).\r \r We started with appetizers and drinks in the backyard, which had a lovely fountain going into a pool. It was a wonderful setting for mingling and getting to know everyone. Every time the waiters came out with a tray, they didn't get but two feet before the tray was empty. J.C. had plenty of food and he kept it coming. Inside, the five course dinner was a smash and the duck, well just unbelievable. We had some very picky entertainment executives. We knew they had been wined and dined by the best. By the end of the evening we had two executives who wanted to hang with us in the kitchen munching on the tiny leftovers. It became more like a small dinner party than a stale, boring product presentation. Oh, and before I forget, J.C. picked out the perfect wine. We also had him introduce the dinner to the guests. It was the little touches that added that something special.\r \r I have to say that I've done these types of events and general holiday parties before. I've had some great chefs, but no one has been as creative and easy to deal with as Saveurs. They even came with us to help pick out the rental furniture, plates, glasses and other tableware that we needed. The food was amazing. The relaxed nature of Chef Jean Christophe made him a pleasure to deal with, when as a host I can be a bit high strung. His staff in organizing the particulars of the events from the china to the menu to the staffing was fantastic. He is a true crowd pleaser with his explanations of the fare and his utter charm. Our event was a formal sit down of five courses for 16 people and the food came out with no feelings of being rushed (vs. a restaurant experience) hot, delicious and a true unique dining experience. I can't say enough nice things....If you want to enjoy your next intimate dinner or large crowd event make sure Jean Christophe is the first thing on your menu. When I first met J.C. I was instantly drawn to his youthful enthusiasm, his engaging personality and his passion for food and wine. HIs culinary skills have attracted him to clients who've taken him around the globe as their personal chef. Thus, when I discovered that he had started a ""personal chef"" business, I immediately told my wife that we had to hire J.C. We did just that for my 50th birthday and WOW, what an exceptional, 'beyond all expectations' experience it was; one that we will cherish and reminisce for years to come. Our other guests, ten of our closet friends, were equally impressed and amazed with the wonderful food selection and preparation, wine pairings and service for our six course dinner. J.C. and Meredith visited our home ahead of time and custom tailered the menu specifically for our party. J.C. showed up with his assistant with all his 'metal' and supplies, then using our kitchen, proceeded to work his magic. Champagne was served as the guests arrived and J.C. mingled with the guests as he prepared the hors d'oeuvres and the rest was history! Saveurs, Inc., a DEFINITE MUST for a truly unique and memorable experience. Pros: Unique ""bring the restaurant to your home"" experience; nothing for host to do except enjoy the evening. Just purchased a gift certificate (for 2 persons) for my Best client for the Holiday Seasons . He was suprised by this great idea and pleased to receive such a unique gift . \r The chef directly comes to your house and cooks a great French gourment Dinner and you don't have to do a thing how great is that !!! more

Having JC cater my dinner parties has been a god sent. I always come out looking like a million bucks and my guests and pocket book are also extatic. I had the pleasure of meeting JC and his wonderful wife Meredith, and tasting their delicious treats. The taste he creates with the fresh ingredients he uses can only come from a highly gifted chef that dedicates his life to pleasing the pallet. His creativity, professionalism and passion are all intermingled in his unique recipes. I look forward to teating myself to his delicious cuisine again. I will be giving my boss a gift certificate to Saveurs, Inc. He's a great leader and deserves the royal treatment that JC provides. I attended a cocktail party in J.C.'s home, and it was a wonderful and intimate evening of beautifully presesnted food and enchanting ambiance. Jean Christophe is a true talent in preparing and presenting food that is healthy and finely prepared. He is also a sweet, charming and amusing host which also adds to a special evening. I found it to be remarkable that he prepares impeccable French cuisine yet does so in a relaxed and intimate environment. I have also referred J.C. and Saveurs to my boss for an important business dinner for executives and their spouses, and J.C. created a memorable evening (and I got kudos for a great recommendation!) Pros: Wonderfully prepared fine dining, excellent wine knowledge, a menu prepared specifically to taste, superb service Cons: JC is a private chef (a great one!) and not necessarily a caterer. However, Saveurs goes to any length to satisy their client and will work within most circumstances. more

I recently had the pleasure of having JC cook a wonderful meal for me - it was very personalized and above all the food was exquisite - his dishes were innovative, bold and delicious. I'd recommend everyone at least once have your own private chef cook an intimate dinner for you and your friends or cater a party at least once in their lives by Jean Christophe- and you wil be spoiled forever!
