Favorite Restaurant in Apple Valley!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2/1/2009

My husband and I were becoming very frustrated for the limited options we have in Apple Valley as a young couple and are not always able to go to the Cities to eat out. Luckily, we came across Satay 2 Go and absolutely feel in love from the start! Very reasonable costs and authentic tasty cuisine. I get the Singapore Rice Noodle dish with chicken every time. I should probably try more, since all of their menu sounds very tasty, but I am stuck on those Singapore noodles!!!!!!! The service is very friendly and fast. This is now our fav. weekly spot! Pros: Tasty food, Fast Service, Very Authentic, Reasonable Prices for Takeout Finally! Cons: Nothing, except when they were closed for a couple weeks from going on vacation. more

A model for what restaurant customer service should be! 9/9/2008

This place is awesome. The customer service is second to none. The menu is fairly broad without consisting of the same old Americanized ""Asian"" dishes you will find at every other Asian type restaurant. The baked goods are phenominal, especially the golden milk buns. Pros: Customer service, the food is authentic and very good. Cons: no much seating space. It is more of a carry out establishment. more

Real Malay food, reasonable price, low key ""mom and pop"" style 4/8/2008

I was in Penang, Malaysia for 6 months and Singapore (formerly part of Malaysia) for another 6 months. This is the first place I've been in the US where the dishes tasted original and really good! The Roti is a favorite appetiser. The Nasi Lemak and Briyani are also Indian-Malay dishes that I like, and are spicy. The mee dishes (flat noodle base) are also quite good. Must be able to handle spicy, though you can request the cook to back off on the ""chili"". My only complaint: closed on Sunday. :(\r \r Bonus: While waiting for takeout, try a curry chicken pastry... Pros: Authentic and really tasty Malay/Indian/Sing dishes! Nice ""mom and pop"" type of store. Cons: From American perspective, the restaurant is small with plastic chairs/tables, which brings down ambience. Though in Malaysia, this is how most of the local restaurants look. more

Best Chow Fun in the state 6/8/2007

Owners are very friendly. The noodle dishes are excellent. The stir fry noodles are better than the ones I had at Peninsula. The siew paus are very good. When I was there a couple of customers were kind of fighting over the last batch that was on the shelf.\r \r Highly recommended eventhough it is a small joint. Pros: great food Cons: hidden gem more

I love their sushi 2/3/2007

I love sushi and I wasn't incline to try the eel. But the owner suggested I try it out and now it is my new favorite. I now like the eel (which isn't raw and has such great flavor) and the fish. They make it fresh and you don't have to wait long. They are very sweet and it's always a pleasant experience. Great little shop. Pros: food and service. Cons: a hidden location more

Fantastic noodle dishes and to-die-for deep fried buns! 7/15/2006

Out in the suburbs, this little mom-pop place whips up some fantastic cuisine! The owners cook and serve, both are originally from Malaysia and continue to fly back quite often. The connection shows in their cooking which is v.authentic. All their noodle dishes are great! They also operate a little bakery. Try the deep-fried buns (siew pau). It's incredible! Pros: The food! Cons: small place more
