Horrible Horrible Service. I bought a Groupon Now. I called them 3 times before going there to see if I can use Groupon on their specials. Everytime I was told yes I can. (One of the person who confirmed was the owner herself). Well I reached 10 minutes before my appointment time. And waited almost 50 minutes. The Massage was ok but later the owner said I cannot use Groupon on special. Really I called 3 times to check that and now you are saying I cannot. And she also said I should have asked for the name who said you can use Groupon on that massage. (One of the person confirming was she herself too). Worst ever experience. I ended up paying full amount. I would never recommend anyone going to Sasha. Also not through Groupon for sure. more

Cute! Love using groupon and this didn't disappoint. Actually booked a second visit for me and my girlfriend for no chip manis-have been wanting to try this out. Went there originally for a massage and loved my girl! Would recommend for people in the burbs. more

Went here to get a cut and color. I was not happy with the color and the told the girl who did my hair. She said that next time I came in she would not charge me for the color as I could not stay much longer. I asked her if it mattered when I made the appointment and she said the next time I came in. So I made an appointment a few months later and came in. I even mentioned it when I called to make the appointment. So I get there and after discussing the appropriate color (I had been there 20 mins) she tells me that she has to charge me for the color as her manager would not let her do it complimentary. So I was furious because I had rearranged my whole day for this appointment and she basically told me she wouldn't do what she had promised me. Terrible Customer Service. Would not recommend this place! more

This place is just fantastic - from the way it looks to the way it feels it's just top notch. As other reviewers have pointed out there's a great atmosphere there ! I am a returning client and happy to leave 5 stars !!! more

WOW!!! The most beautiful salon I've ever been to. Location is great, ease to find, and big parking lot. Very professional staff and they definitely know what they are doing. The girl that was doing my hair is the best, her name is Alina. I felt like she knows my hair better than I do. I didn't want to leave this place because of people and atmosphere there. I left very happy and with good organic products that Alina said were made just for my type of hair. I loved it, and I see the difference in my hair already! I will go there again and again, and would really recommend this wonderful and friendly place... more

My friends and I needed girl time away from days stress, so we looked up on line and Sasha G salon had a lot off great reviews so we called for an appointment, the girl on the phone was extremely helpful and very sweet I think her name was Aneta. Anyway, they got us in - I had a Honey massage OMG it was amazing, my skin felt smooth, no cellulite and I felt like I had lost inches - I loved it. One of my two friends had 3 in 1 facial with Ewa and she loved it and she gets facials all the time. The other had algae body treatment and herbal massage, needless to say she loved her services as well. They actually offered me complimentary hair style while I was waiting for my friends and I loved Alina who styled my hair she is great and I made an appointment for keratin hair treatment. It was great day and we gave this experience 5 stars. I would like to prevent you from making appointment in that salon. If you call them ,they ask for credit card saying that it is for potential service charge. I made an appointment one day at 3 pm and I cancelled next day morning . \r Receptionist confirmed that it is cancelled verbally. In two days I saw on my credit card a charge for $ 35 . I called them to explain a situation and they told me that I did not cancel my appointment within 24 hours before my original appointment at 2 pm. Since I made an appointment at 3 pm day before I was not able to cancel it sooner .Not to mention tha lady said that it is cancelled and did not inform me about any cancellation fee. Also she did not introduce me to a cancellation policy at the beginning of conversation .\r I called my credit company they put a charge in dispute temporaily however I failed since they provided them with information that cancellation policy is explained on their website and I should be aware that I am not able to cancel my appointment if I make it day before .\r I have never had such situation in the past to be charged for nothing , not having even service in this salon. I've been to Sasha G twice--once for a very affordable facial and once for a haircut. Excellent service both times. Since my move to the north suburbs I've been looking for the best salon and spa in the Wheeling, Riverwoods, Deerfield and Northbrook Illinois areas. My Sasha G customized facial last month was awesome--including some special treatments for my hands and legs that I've never had before (not even from Red Door or Mario Tricoci or Pure Med Spa and they too have awesome facials). I'd compare the facial I had here to the ones I've had at Tiffani Kim, but a lot cheaper. My next trip to the Sasha G salon and spa in Wheeling was last night for a haircut. I am so booked with Dr. appts. and dentist visits, work, etc. that the ONLY time I could work in a pre Christmas haircut was last night. Sasha Gs stayed open late to accommodate me. So, I've been there twice and each time I have gotten the VIP treatment. Sasha Gs is one of the best spa and salons I've found in my Wheeling, Deerfield, Northbrook, Riverwoods 'hood and I am QUITE happy to find someplace that is affordable--so I can get much needed facials more often and not have to go longer between haircuts. My facial was on special (with microdermabrasion and a lot of other stuff) for $65. I also got coupons for some future special offers of $5, $10 and $20 off offers. My haircut was $40!!! Much as I love you Mario Tricoci in Vernon Hills Hawthorne Plaza , I'm afraid I may have to quit you. I would definitely recommend Sasha G to my friends and coworkers --it's also close to where I work on Lake Cook Road so I can get there in 5 to 10 minutes. I lost my job and was very upset, so I wanted to treat myself for a little love and care. I had looked up Sasha G Salon & Spa on the internet, liked what I saw and called to make an appointment for facial. They told me that they are introducing new 24K gold facial. WOW! IT WAS AMAIZING! I left there feeling like a million bucks, recharged, happy and ready for a new chapter in my life. I will most definitely go back and recommend it to everybody I know. Thank you Sasha G staff. I recently visited Sasha G salon to get a makeup and a hairstyle trial before my wedding. My friend told me about them. I have to say that I was impressed with the level of their service. I simply loved the makeup and hairstyling I got. I highly recommend their girl Sasha for the makeup. We talked a lot about my face and all the options before we even started . We tried different styles and found the one, that is really best for me. I really enjoyed my look whole day long. The salon is beautiful and cozy too. I highly recommend them. My boyfriend bought me a gift certificate to Sasha G and it was one of the best days I have had in a very long time. I spent the day there getting a facial, body wrap, wax, spa manicure, and spa pedicure. The place is gorgeous and I receieved the relaxation I was in desperate need of. They even provided me with (complimentary) lunch and the staff was incredibly attentive. This was followed by dinner in the city with my boyfriend. It was really a fantastic experience and I would like to thank everyone who made it possible at the Salon and Spa. I had a truly wonderful experience at this salon and spa. The staff were all very sweet and the place is absolutely beautiful-it was a great place to escape and relax. I had my hair colored and cut and also had a massage. I would definitely recommend Sasha G to a friend and have found it to be one of the nicest spa's i've been to in this area. At Sasha G I immediately felt that I had entered heaven; the architecture of the salon was breath taking and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely accommodating! I sat for a few moments in the waiting area (accompanied by a glowing fireplace) before my appointment and I was quickly offered snacks and fresh brewed coffee. My pedicure turned out beautifully and lasted for weeks, my massage left my completely relaxed and rejuvenated, and I am still getting compliments on my color! My colorist also recommended products to improve the longevity of my hair color, but she was not forceful. I have recommended my closest friends to Sasha G and they have left raving about it. The salon is beautiful - great furnishings and a nice selection of services and products. The problem is that most of the staff is too new to the business to really know what they are doing. Customer service is not something that is focused on - not when you are paying prices that are identical to those at a Red Door Salon. With such expensive prices, the services should be perfect and the focus should be on keeping the customer happy and relaxed. The two services I had done took 3 hours, when they should have taken only 1.5 hours. I was not offered water during the entire visit. My resulting manicure and pedicure were of the same caliber as what I get when I pay only $25, not the $67 it costs at Sasha! So they get an A+ for surroundings and a big zero on service and results.
