Sarpino's Pizzeria

Food was hot and very good. I have come to look forward to my Houston trips just so I can have a calzone from Saprino's more

First off I would like to compliment Sarpinos on its speedy delivery times and friendly service. That's where the compliments end. I ordered the baked spaghetti, and a side salad. The salad consisted of huge chunks of iceberg lettuce, quartered tomatoes, and giant slivers of onion and bell pepper. Hardly manageable by any normal means. Oh and...store-bought ranch dressing. Next, the bread sticks. So greasy I couldn't even pick them up. That is all. Finally, the spaghetti. Can't possibly mess up spaghetti, right? Wrong. Microwaved, precooked noodles, doused in canned tomato sauce and what was supposed to be beef...all covered by a half inch of broiled, rubbery mozzarella...... The entire experience was dreadful and I was left hungry. As a former soldier, the meal reminded me of an MRE. What a pathetic excuse for Italian. I will never be back. more

The menu of the actual restaurant was a little different than the one posted on grubhub, but someone from the restaurant called me promptly and told me that what I ordered wasn't available. They were very nice about it. I ended up ordering an italian sandwich and cheese tortellini with alfredo sauce. Both were delicious, enough pasta to serve at least 2 people and the sandwich came with chips. more

Very Prices but that inflation, but i love the fact that they delivery all the way here in JFk that a 14 Mile drive just coming from Atascocita i give the driver a 5 dollar tip and he is happy it may may take 1 hour for delivery, but it worth it when good tasting and good variety, Now they have this new Rasberry Vingrette dressing for there salad i woul die for.. I just wish there was a closer one. They also have a nice dinning area Pros: GREAT FOOD Cons: HIGH PRICE more

I had never heard of Sarpino's, but decided to give it a shot. Pros: Authentic sounding name Cons: Horrible service, small portions, skimpy on ingredients, long wait. more

This is my second-favorite pizzeria in Houston. Wonderful pizza and cheese sticks. more
