I'm a serious knitter who loves good quality and unusual yarns, so Sarita's is like a wonderful candy store to me. The yarns are gorgeous, just delicious colors and textures, and the selection is great. The husband and wife (I think they are anyway) are so friendly and helpful, and the wife is extremely knowledgable in both technique and problem-solving. The yarns are not cheap, for cheap craft yarn ($3.99, $5.99) you'd have to look at Hobby Lobby or Walmart, but for a large selection of unusual and beautiful yarns to add to your stash Sarita's on the West Side is perfect. I look forward to every visit. more

AWESOME 8/10/2009

I haven't gotten my pants back...not due to me for 2 days. but today I went to drop them off. I had my son and everything in hand when the owner (older married couple) were locking up and leaving. She asked if I could come back to morrow because they were closed on mondays. I said I couldn't because I lived so far away (I found them by reviews on another site) and she gladly measured me and took my pants. AWESOME! And they also give a 20% discount to military! Good Place for Alterations 3/17/2009

Whenever I'm in El Paso, I take clothes I have, especially pants, dresses, and skirts to get altered. They have always done a good job on all my pants and skirts and I like that they take good measurements as well. more
