Saratoga Springs Public Library

This is a very nice and well kept library that has a ton of books and other material. Although it is nice if you don't live in Saratoga springs good luck checking anything out. I found a book I needed for school and I could not get it out because I did not live there. IT was a little unfriendly in that aspect. This is definitely one of the better public libraries I have seen. Their core book and periodical selection is good, but there are other things that make the library really stand out. One gem is the book sale section. Open 7 days a week, the book sale has a great 2-room selection of both fiction and non-fiction. Only a few are library discards, and most are in great shape. None are over a few dollars. The library also has a very good audio-visual section with hundreds of movies available, although most are still on VHS. Their CD selection is great and spans all musical genres, with a special emphasis on folk, classical and jazz. The final bright spot is their computer services. They have a number of high-speed Internet terminals, as well as some PCs with office applications. In addition to this, they subscribe to a number of great research databases which are free for use. In addition to all this, they have free WiFi access for laptop users. A great place! more

Saratoga Public Library is located in downtown Saratoga. They have 2 parking areas. Its wheelchair accessible. They have many activities always going on. They have a book store where you can buy books. They have classes you can sign up and attend. They have computers you can use if you want to check your email or do research stuff. Staff is very friendly and helpful. more
