If you love delicious seafood; a clean, nice looking environment and friendly service, you must try Sabry's. My husband and I decided to try it one time we were walking by and saw someone eating a delicious looking fish. We were blown away by the quality of the seafood and the taste. The seafood combo for two is amazing, it truly is a feast. You get lobster, giant shrimp, calamari, fish, mussels, octopus, all cooked with a combination of spices and lots of flavor. Paired with salad, freshly baked bread, and delicious babaganoush. And the price is right. Is your mouth watering yet? \r \r The people are friendly and the service is great. Its definately someplace I go occassionally and recommend lots of friends to go. If you're a seafood lover, its amazing. The food is fresh and you can pick your own fish before cooking. They offer ur choice of fish that can be grilled in wheatgerm,(which you peel off before eating) Its absolutely spectacular and filled with flavor. My habit now is to order tea with fresh mint at the end of the meal. The prices are reasonable, but the bathroom can be upgraded...otherwise, I give Chef Sabry 5 stars for excellent food! \r Pros: excellent fresh seafood Cons: sometimes slow service but its worth the wait more

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. I have been there several times and cant wait to go again. This is my family's favorite spot in Astoria. The bread comes out of the oven piping hot - cant get any fresher, the eggplant w/sauce is unparrelled and the fried shrimp is just perfect. The only down fall is at the end of it all you may hate yourself for overeating- you just cant stop- YUMMY! more

The food here is okay, but not good enough for the prices or the service. There are far better restaurants in the area with wider menu selections and more competitive prices. The worst part of my experience here was the service. It took several tries to get the waiter's attention for us to even get water. After the waiter finally took our order and gave us our food he never came back. We practically had to beg to get our check so we could end the nightmare. When that finally came, there were items that we ordered but never received. We didn't even care that we didn't get all we ordered. We just wanted to get out. I've been there a few times with my fiance and every time I come out pleased. It is a very nice cozy place with great food.The service is prompt and always with a smile. The price is reasonable for the portions that are served. I highly recommended it, and trust me when I say this place will leave you with the an Egyptian enchantment coming back for more. more
