Same Great Food - Different Location 7/20/2010

Santorini reopened mid-November 2008 after a two week hiatus to move and fine-tune it's new location at 13000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie (SW corner of Hwy 5 & Prairie Center Drive). The location has been home to three or four different restaurants in the past few years including Pickled Parrot and Canyon Grill. Nearly the entire staff made the move. The menu is familiar with some interesting additions (a wood fire oven adds several grilled items as well as wood oven pizza's). The Mediterranean standards are still there. Our party of four shared Flamed Saganaki and Calamari a la Romana for appetizers and a family sized Horiatiki salad (tomato, cucumber, feta cheese and olives in an olive oil dressing). Two ordered the Gyro dinner, one had seared Ahi Tuna, I had the Lamb Shank. All were magnificent although the Ahi was a little overdone. The wine list has been updated somewhat and the selection is more than adequate with some notable changes i.e. fewer Greek wines, more Sonoma and Alexander Valley. Parking is adequate and valet is available at night. There are several small to large rooms which could be utilized for private parties. In the Summer, the large outside deck looks as though it has it?s own bar and a great view of the lake across the street. At night, just look for all the blue and white lighted trees and signs. Pros: Menu, Food, Parking, Live Music, Sunday Brunch Cons: None more

Totally awsome Sunday brunch 4/4/2010

This Sunday brunch is the best! A huge variety of foods, all greatly prepared. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. There is no way you can sample everthing in one visit, so you will be back. Pros: food, location, staff Cons: none more

Just plain bad 2/26/2010

This place has been so many restaurants, I can't keep track of the names. Santorini served me food I couldn't eat. It was cold, dry and just really pathetic. The service was amateur and incompetent. This is a Greek place? Pizza, hamburgers? Sorry folks, this place is destined to close just like the other 3 businesses before it. Don't waste your time or money. Pros: nothing Cons: bad food, untrained service and an odd atmosphere more

yummy! 2/19/2010

We ate here and it felt nostalgic and the food was to die for sooooo yummy I will go there again very soon 2 thumbs up! Pros: best salad in the twin cities more

Great food, but I miss the pasta bar! 12/2/2009

I miss the pasta bar they used to have when they were in Minnetonka! But even without it, the food never disappoints! Pros: Always good food Cons: No pasta bar more
