""As a new business in an area it’s always difficult to ascertain the best way to distribute your advertising dollars, but I was fortunate enough to find a place where I definitely got my money’s worth, the Santee Maga- zine. We have been advertising with the TSM for 4 years now and it’s a great way to get customers though the door.\r I never realized how many people actually read local publications, but there are a lot! Every time a pub- lication goes out we get a surge of customers; however we get a steady flow through the year as well. Even if people don’t come in right away, just\r seeing the business in the TSM repeatedly helps them associate you with the services we provide. I have been an active member of the Santee Chamber of Commerce, since soon after we opened our Sport Clips Haircuts store in\r January 2009. The organization has been instrumental in my efforts to network and meet other business owners and managers throughout the community. I have also found a couple of the Santee Chambers bigger events – the Street Fair and the Car Show – to be among the top opportunities to interact with the general public and invite them to give the Santee Sport Clips a try. The Santee Chamber has been instrumental to our growth in this area.\r more
