I had brought my 1996 Chrysler Cirrus in for a problem I was having with it (kep stalling out) to Santa Teresa Shell a few weeks ago. When I went in they seemed very friendly and genuinely glad I was there (an unusual thing anymore). Anyway, I explained what was going on to the service manager with my car. And after I was done explaining what's what he started to ask me a lot of questions about my car, past repairs, service history, etc... I asked why he was asking so many questions and he said it helps to know the vehicles history to more accurately diagnose problems (made sense to me). Oh, I should say I have had my car at the dealer twice for the same problem and they are clueless. Anyway, I was given a quote of $196 for the diagnostic (which I thought was kind of high), but decided to leave the car with them. That afternoon the service manager at Santa Teresa Shell gave me a call and asked to keep the car overnight so he could get some kind of sensor readings (???) when it was cold and I said that would be ok. The next morning, Scott called and said they have found the problem and the part would cost $123. I told him to go ahead with the repairs. When I picked up the car, Scott explaind the work order and went over the diagnostic papers with me. I now understand why they quoted me $196 in the beginning. He said he spent about 4 hours on my car and after seeing the diagnostic print outs, I believe him. The car has'nt run this good in quite a few years and I have not had one problem since Santa Teresa Shell fixed my car. I'll never take my car anywhere else for repairs or service. This place is great.
Pros: Great service
Cons: None at all
