I recently had a lot of dental work done at this office (which was promptly paid for in full after each visit before leaving his office) and needless to say I was very disappointed with Dr. Alan Rubenstein attitude during my follow up visit. He performed a routine cavity filling near a pre existing crown which right after this procedure has been causing me severe pain. When I told him about it he abruptly told me to ""Let it go!"" three times before hurriedly leaving his office to tend to other pressing matters. He did not check the area for infection or offer me any antibiotics. I was astonished by this lack of concern for my health and welfare. He also did some reconstructive dentistry by removing silver fillings and replacing with white fillings and I just found out that some of the areas are exposed which explained some sensitivity I was receiving in these teeth. The only procedure that went right was my wisdom teeth being pulled by an outside oral surgeon. He was a very nice older gentleman man who was very thorough and caring during the procedure. I noticed Dr. Rubenstein was allowing himself to be distracted while performing his dental work on my mouth. The receptionist kept interrupting him about a phone call that he had to take and I could tell that he was becoming easily agitated which seemed to be reflected in his work. He dropped a dental instrument on the floor in frustration during the procedure. I trusted him because he was highly recommended, but now I regret all my time and money that I wasted hoping that I would have received quality dental care.
Pros: Excellent Oral Surgeon.
Cons: Inconsiderate follow up treatment.
