Santa Fe Tequila Co

I liked the atmosphere of this restaurant, particularly the bar, although the place was nearly empty the Saturday night I went. It's kind of dark and romantic, without being fussy. The drink menu was the best part - cool mixed drinks and impressive wine and (of course) tequila menus. The food wasn't very memorable, however. Nothing bad to say, but nothing really good to say either. My strongest impression was that the cost was more than it was worth. We ordered appetizers and were never brought plates, so we ended up passing an $8.00 fried avocado half around the table. I enjoyed myself but I don't see myself going back. more

Went here for Restaurant week and it was a GREAT CHOICE. The food was GREAT! The green chilie enchiladas were spectacular if you like green chilie! It was a little loud, but there were really large parties that night. The next time I am in the mood for Mexican, I know where I am going! Pros: Great Food! Cons: A Little Loud more

Went for Happy Hour - it was our first visit. Like a previous review, from the outside it looks closed...not real inviting with the blinds closed all the time. I think they should open the blinds so people walking or driving by can see inside cause it is beautifully decorated. The service was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of their menu and worked together to make sure we have filled glasses and more chips. Our group had almost all the apps on their menu and every one was delicious! They even accommodated our request to get all 4 salsas so we could try each one. The Green Chili & Cheese dip was a tasty twist on Chili con Queso...yummm...we ordered 2 of those!! We had the house margaritas and they were just the right mix of sweet and tart...tasty!! We will definitely go back and try some items from their dinner menu. Oh - parking is great...I parked on the street before I found out about the lot next door. The rest of my party parked in the adjacent parking structure - free parking...nice touch for that neighborhood. Pros: Service, food, parking, margaritas, value more

We went for Happy Hour. Service was attentive and the staff was really nice. The place looks good on the inside. I had driven past many times and it always looked closed. Turns out they just block the view to the inside so it looks closed. The inside of the place was nice, new, and well kept up. The place is not popular on Wednesdays afternoons. The hallway to the bathrooms was so dark it was hard to find my way. Margaritas and salsas were great and we had a great time. Hope that place catches on because the staff and the food was really nice. Just a shame that the place is so barren looking from the outside. more

I absolutely love this place! The guacamole is to die for and the ribs are tender and cooked to perfection. Everything on the menu is fun, fresh and delightfully tasty. The staff are great and the bar atmosphere is fun too. Pros: Prices, Free Parking and Awesome Food more
