After a severe accident I had reconstructive surgery and was told by another Dr that it was impossible to fix but Dr b put humpty dumty back together again more

You might not get what you think your getting - be very careful. I went to Dr. David Buchanan for a simple rhinoplasty. Very minimal changes were needed. I paid full price for a ""standard rhinoplasty"" and ended up coming out with a minor tip revision. I was completely devastated to have gone under knife for 1/3 of what we had discussed doing. He said I should be thankful for what I got, but he'd do a revision surgery to alter the bridge and cartilage like we had originally agreed upon. Three months later I paid more money, went back under anesthesia - only to have him tell me after I came out of surgery that during the operation he decided that I didn't need the work done. He betrayed my trust by allowing me to believe he would do his best to improve the areas in which bothered me, and took it upon himself to not even try. I obtained copies of both the operation notes and I was right - he didn't do any of things that we had discussed prior to both surgeries; with no medical reason not to. For a doctor to make his patient feel guilty for something that he chose not to do is completely unethical. Things like this border on the ""services not rendered"" lawsuit claim. more

Dr. Buchanan is amazing. It is so nice to have a DOCTOR doing the injections that knows the face muscles. He is gentle and made me look years younger with a little Botox. more

The reation from everyone is ""You look great, younger, more rested"" etc. Those who do know that I had a face lift are amazed at how natural I look. The phrase “natural looking” meant a lot, Dr. Buchanan’s qualifications, affiliation with Cottage Hospital, anesthesiologists and before & after photos on the website made me set up a consultation. Then the warmth and efficiency of the office staff and meeting Dr. Buchanan made me schedule the surgery (I had three previous consultations with other surgeons who did not inspire as much confidence or make me feel as comfortable). more

Dr. Buchanan changed my life. I came to him after having three children in four years. I was looking at 40 and my body was not what I wanted to see. I was so extremely upset that exercise and eating right could not fix the miracle of childbirth. Dr. Buchanan was so soft spoken. He immediately put me at ease and was thorough and extremely up to date on all medical procedures. I felt so comfortable that I would be safe and 100% satisfied with my results.
