This is a wonderful place to just take your time and explore. So much history to be seen when you visit. I have purchased quite a few little things for my home here and they have been priced very fairly. If you are interested in antiques, this is one of the best local places to shop. more

Sanford & Son - awesome to look at, pricey to buy 3/5/2006

Sanford & Son is a huge warehouse, with room after room stuffed to bursting with antiques of all descriptions. I like to wander around in there looking at things, but could never afford to buy. Each room opens into another, and another, and it is definitely an amazing experience to browse through. There's even more than one level of rooms, upstairs and downstairs, with ramps or stairs connecting them. This has to be the largest Antique store I've seen yet. more

Good browsing, but too expensive 8/17/2005

Sanford and Son is great for browsing, because they have lots of really neat old furniture and the place is just huge, but I've always thought that most everything there was vastly overpriced. Definitely give it a visit, because there really is great furniture there, and maybe (unlike me) you'll actually find a deal. They've been in business for years so obviously they sell things! more
