Overall Dr. Sands is very nice and the facilities are top of the line, but please BEWARE!! She tries pushing Invisalign on you. If you don't need it or want it make sure you say clearly NO. I said I was going to think about it and that ended up costing me $500.00 she called it a miscommunication I call it I got scammed 500 dollars. Never did I get an explanation or a phone call from her office even though I left there pretty upset. Very disappointed! Lack of business ethics! Will never return there again! more

This place is pretty darn bad in my opinion. Definitely the worst experiences I've ever had with a dentist. They lie, make mistakes, and are pretty rude at times. They wrote absolutely the wrong date on my Invisalign trays. I had an emergency and they couldn't schedule me in for almost a week. They're pretty ridiculous and pricey, so I would go somewhere else if I were you. more

Dr Jamie and Jason Sands are skilled dentists who r also very good business people. They will try to sell u any cosmetic work they can: veneers, crowns, replacements of old fills.. u name it. They can do a good job and it will look good. But if anything breaks, dont count on getting a free replacement. They will blame it on u grinding your teeth, they will sell u a $1000 night guard, and advise to fix the rest of your mouth, even if it coasts another 10-20 K. I know that they even hired a team of business consultants to come and coach the staff on better selling techniques, and on getting rid of ""non-profitable patients""! They are disownest and will try to misslead u. DO GET A SECOND OPPINION from a more conservative dentist or a dental schoo, where drs are not interested to rip u off. Out of 2 Dr Jason is a much more conservative option. Their staff are also very agressive, they will try to sell u anything but the furniture. The front desk secretary Amanda is rude, no other words come to mind when I think of her. Hygienists and assistans are compitent, but seems they are in on the share of the proffit. So, bottom line, prepare to cash out and whatch you back fellows! Good luck!! more

Let me start out by saying... i am a terrible patient. I flinch when water is shot in my mouth, I cringe at the sound of the drill, I work myself up into a panic during cleanings... i'm a big baby. On my first visit I expressed that to Dr Sands and she works very hard to make sure her patients are comfortable... even if that means spending more time on your appointment. I love the Hygienists, the ladies who run the front. This is really just a great Dentist with the best staff. It took about 10 dentists to match the quality, technology and care that Dr Sands has provided through her dentistry! I don't know how anyone could be anything but happy with the unbelievable service from Dr. Jamie Sands. I have been to far too many dentists in my life and as a result have a ton of work in my mouth. I have suffered so much pain in the past. But Dr. Jamie Sands gave me the best numbing ever. She took the time to do it slowly and properly so i felt nothing. She was considerate, caring, kind and real. The staff were wonderful. The whole place has a happy, helpful vibe. They really do care. Dr. Sands was very careful to make it clear she would give me my time and space to gradually do the work i need done. No pressure. I saw some before and after work she had done and it was amazing. I am actually now looking forward to getting my smile back. I feel a weight is off me because I know I have a professional dentist I can trust for all my future needs. Thank you Smiles by Sands!! Recently my 6 year old son broke his tooth while having dinner. I got a referral to Dr Jamie Sands I called the office early the next morning and the receptionist was so helpful in coordinating a time to bring my son in. We got to the office and the girls at the front were so helpful. Then it was time to bring my son to the back. The assistant was very compassionate towards my son. My son is a bit fearful and when Dr Jamie came in it seemed like she made everything okay. The office recommended we use nitrous which was ideal, it was great. Dr Sands seems like she has a passion for dental work and she is just wonderful, she has a great hand and she walked both my son and I through the procedure. Unlike the last reviewer, I feel Dr. Jamie is an exceptional dentist that has giving me a great deal of amazing work over the last year. Moving recently moved to LA a few years back I found myself looking for a dentist and got a great recommendation from a friend to get a check up at her office. I have been with her office ever since. This is a great high end office in a low key area. Who would of thought I'd get Beverly Hills type treatment and care in the valley. Long story short, the Doctors are great and the staff is so on top of things, i was quite impressed with the over all experience, and let me tell you, I'm hard to impress. Very clean and organized.
