""I just had the displeasureof my first--and last encounter with this place. I just moved to Greenbrae and had an hour off while my husband stayed with the baby at nap time, so I jetted down to Bon Air with a few dirty shirts to take to the cleaners there. I passed Sandbox and was tempted to go have a quick browse. I needed some interesting hosiery for a dress I was planning to wear to dinner tonight and saw there might be some hope of saving a trip to Nordstroms. It became clear that my slouchy, mother-of-a-two-year-old, Saturday morning garb with 3 dirty dress shirts under my arm made some negative impression with the staff because I was cast off as some throw-away customer. Little do they know how much I spend on clothes and most all of the brands they sell there are very well represented in my closet. One of the employees finally offered some assistance and I told her I needed some hosiery for my dress and as I was describing the dress I remembered I had it in my car--a picture is worth a thousand words right? I ran out to get in and when I came back (mere moments) the look I was shot from all three of the employees behind the counter was gnarly. What had this woman said while I was out to the car? I waited and waited and finally, the owner/cretin, Merle, approached me and said in a condescending, whispery-tone...""I'm sorry, we really just don't have time for this...we're very busy."" I said...""well you know Iove these brands very much and am new to greenbrae and do you really want to turn me away as a customer?"" I turned to the woman who had been helping me and asked why did she abandon me and what was the problem? The cretin, Merle, then said to me (so insulting I can not believe she turned out to be the owner!) ""If you don't like how you are being treated, why don't you go down the street...there are other shops"". WHAT? Where am I??? Needless to say I had to report this unbelievably unpleasant encounter with Sandbox. Steer clear of this place!!!""
