Best

I was introduced to the World Famous Shrimp Tray and added some scallops and hailbut. Boy was it GOOD. I am not kidding, you have to try the Shrim Tray. Delicious!

This is a great experience and a good time. Come here to the fish market and pick your own fresh fish and shrimp. I get the red snapper deeper dried and topped with their garlic butter. The shrimp I get with the head on for more flavored cooked wih vegetables and a side of garlic bread. It is a bit expensive but the sea food is fresh. This is definitely not a fancy place but is delicious. more

Very tender fish and good no frills fare 6/3/2008

I have been there on a Saturday for lunch and think that this is an excellent spot for every fish lover, seafood enthusiast and a fabulous haunt for large group dining. A no frills menu offers three different kinds of fish dishes: a fried shrimp plate, a salmon plate and a halibut plate. One can get a mixed plate as well. I shared a small, but generously piled plate with a friend and it was enough for both of us. Fried veggies and a beverage come alongside together with a ocean view, while Mariachi singers are maintaining a Latin vibe. Pros: Atmosphere, price, ambience Cons: Sometimes dirty tables more

  • The San Pedro Fish Market family started selling fresh fish in the Los Angeles seaside community of San Pedro in 1957 under the name Vista Seafood.
In the late 60's they relocated the Fish Market to the LA Waterfront eventually changing the name to San Pedro Fish Market adding a Restaurant with Dining Room, Live Crab and Lobster tanks, a walk up counter for Clam Chowder, Calamari and Fish & Chips in addition to building seaside Patio Seating for 300!

The business evolved during the 80's and 90's adding the option to have any seafood purchased at the Fish Counter prepared to your liking on the Patio BBQ Grilles. Grilled Veggies, Red Potatoes and Garlic Bread were added and the World Famous Shrimp Tray was born!

There are 2 additional locations for their patrons to enjoy great seafood The Crusty Crab Fish Market on the waterfront and Shamrock Seafood's in Wilmington CA.
