San Luis Motorsports

I run a local vineyard, I had three of my quads all break in the same week (not hondas). I had heard how great the Honda quads were at holding up in these conditions. I talked with the sales manager at San Luis Motorsports who said he offered a vineyard discount to all locals farms and vineyards and he had 7 in stock. I called 4 more dealerships who ALL had higher prices and none of them had the 3 I needed in stock. This business is clearly trying to take care of the locals. I just recently moved to the area and on such short notice I was invited to go on a ride. I was reluctant to say yes due to the fact that I had not yet moved up my riding gear. I needed new gear anyways, as mine was like 5 years old, and was refered by by a friend to go to San Luis Motorsports. I walked in and went to the MX section, took a look at the gear and loved the variety not to mention they had my size in stock for everything I was looking for. I was so stoked! I even had great customer service every step of the way making sure I got all that I needed. I will be be back for sure in the near future for all my riding needs. more

I was to leave for a 3,000 mile ride the next day. I was packing my Honda ST1300 and went to start the bike and there was nothing. In a panic I called San Luis Motorsports and told them the situation. James in service had the bike picked up within the hour and said he was going to do his best to make sure I didn't miss my trip. 2 Hours later he called and said the bike was fixed and offered to pick me up. He also pointed out that the brake pads were low and offered to have them installed for me same day. I was so happy with the whole experience. Having the parts in stock was great. I would definitely recommend this dealer. more

I went to Slo Motorsports to purchase a new motorcycle. I had cash in pocket and was ready to purchase the one i had my eye on for awhile. The salseman treated me like i was not serious in buying the motorcycle and had a very bad attitude. I left and paid cash for the bike at another shop in Santa Barbara. The service was so bad i went to Santa Barbara just to avaoid it!! I have also had friends go into SLO motorsports and they were given the wrong part or wrong fluids after being assured they were the right ones for their particular bike. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for parts, or new purchases, you will be much happier that you did! more

I will not be returning to San Luis Motorsports. After being ignored in the store by a bunch of punk kids, i was greeted by a rude cashier. I purchased my items, being reassured I would have no problems returning them. I came back about a week later to return the item (regular stock item), i was notified that all returns were eligible for store credit only. The same cashier I dealt with a week earlier, still grumpy and rude, was of no help and made my experience there one I will not remember. I'm going back to cycle gear where they always seem to be happy I am in their store. Call me old fashioned, but if i pay cash for something, I should be able to get cash back if returned within a reasonable amount of time.
