After living in Torrance for 18 years, I had never gotten around to going to this landmark. After my visit last night, I am sorry I didn't go sooner. The prime rib was simply fantastic - very juicy and tender, and they give you plenty of meat (not fat!!), unlike other places. They offer you 2 strengths of horseradish, and you could tell that they were made fresh. The sourdough bread is fresh baked and comes piping hot to your table. The veal parmesan is top notch, too. Menu items are around $10-30 a plate. The decor is a romantic step back to the early 60's, and the waitstaff is as friendly and as attentive as you can get (they actually WANT you to come back)...even the owner comes around and asks how things are. A true gem in Torrance. Open to 2am every night.
Pros: food, service, parking
