I just have to say- my wedding day felt like a real life fairytale! It rained, but that made it all the more memorable and special. The staff, especially Carole, were so sweet and helpful. We were treated like we were just old friends! Our ceremony was on the porch instead of the Glen, where we'd planned, and everyone is still telling me that it was THE most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to despite the rain. I can't thank Janice, Carole, and the rest of the crew enough for making my wedding day a dream come true. more

The staff at Sampson's Hollow went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding day was everything I ever dreamed of. Lesley (wedding coordinator at SH) made sure everything went just as I wanted and was so accommodating to each guest's needs and my wishes. She made the planning process a breeze! She was quick with responses and always assured me that everything would be perfect! On the wedding day, she continuously checked in with my mother and I to make sure that every decision made was exactly what we wanted. Janice (owner) ensured that my flowers were beautiful and that the food was delicious! Janice even hand arranged my floral arrangements to ensure that they were everything that I had imagined. The guest raved about the homemade cobblers! The wedding was just wonderful despite the all-time record high heat in East TN! I would HIGHLY recommend Sampson's Hollow to any bride who wants a stress-free planning process, wonderful atmosphere, personal attention to details, and beautiful rustic wedding! Sampson's Hollow is the perfect wedding location and it is family owned by Janice & Bill Livingston and their sons. It is a place where they welcome u with open arms and treat u like family. My husband and I did an elopement with just the two of us but they treated our special day as if we were expecting guests by hanging white balloons on the stop sign and on the sampsons hollow sign. Everything was perfect that day and when I seen my bouquet I was amazed at how beautiful it was, Janice goes out of her way to make ur big day the best!! We even had a wedding cake in which was bigger than we had expected. What makes this even better is the beauty of the scenery, mountain views, the georgous location options for ur ceremony and all the vintage decor set up every where. They even have a cozy breath taking cabin. We actually stayed there for the whole week and hated leaving it was so peaceful on the farm and just felt like home to us. When it came to our photos they shuttled us to all the locations by golf cart which for this bride in heels was a life saver...lol!! This venue is hands down the best out of all the ones we had looked at. I highly highly recommend Sampson's Hollow to all couples, their website is great to give u an idea of what to expect but DEFINITELY go visit in person because pictures do not serve as justice, its even more beautiful than u could imagine!!! I had my dream wedding at Sampson's Hollow. I got engaged and planned an entire wedding in a month and a half and Janice was perfect in working out all of the details in that short amount of time. I absolutely loved Sampson's Hollow for the beautiful landscape and rustic romance feel to it. It had beautiful photo opportunities. I had Sarah Myers as my photographer from Sarah Myers Photography and she did a wonderful job! They provided the cake, flowers, and reception food and all turned out wonderful and exactly how I had asked. I did not have a rehearsal dinner but they did a great job at directing us before the ceremony and it went very smoothly. I absolutely loved our wedding and I truly thank Janice for making our wedding so beautiful and perfect! more

We recently got married at Sampsons Hollow and we could not be more impressed with their services!! They took care of our cake, flowers and catering for reception! Flowers were spectacular. Food for reception was awesome and cooked just right. Bridal cake was better than we ever imagined. We are still getting compliments on how good everything was. Janice was more than willing to answer any questions I had and help in any sort of way. Carole was our wedding coordinator and really knew what she was doing! She was extremely personable and easy to talk to. I told her and Janice exactly what I wanted and they made it happen! Would highly highly recommend this venue for your all of your wedding needs!!! more

We recently had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Sampson's Hollow and I couldn't have ask for anything any better. The food was delicious, the room was tastefully decorated, and the staff was wonderful. Best of all, I only had to choose a menu, a time, and pay the fee! They took care of everything and I got to enjoy the evening with my family! Having the rehearsal dinner at the venue provided the time we needed without the stress of traveling to an outside site. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Sampson's Hollow without any reservations. more

I can not even begin to thank the staff at Sampson's Hollow enough for all they did to make my wedding day perfect!! Actually, it was beyond PERFECT!! They went above and beyond for me and I will forever be grateful! I was a nervous wreck the day of my wedding but once I stepped into Sampson's Hollow and saw how perfect they had made everything a sense of peace came over me and I was so ready to marry the love of my life!! The staff was amazing and everything I asked for was more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined! I feel so blessed to have had the privilege to spend the happiest day of my life at their beautiful farm!! more

This is the sweetest place. If your looking for a country wedding, this is the place! The setting is absolutley what we had in mind. The countryside views, horse pastures, cabin decor and lighting, fire pit for roasting marshmellows, laid back casual atmosphere along with the staff were awesome. I would recommend this place over and over again. more

My husband actually recommended Sampson's Hollow and he really hit the nail on the head for what I envisioned our wedding to be. We are both very outdoorsy and have close ties to forestry and agriculture. Sampson's Hollow encompassed all of the things we stand for as both individuals and as a couple. The staff were amazing at giving us ideas and working with making our special day truly unique. My husband and I are local but I would highly recommend Sampson's Hollow to any of my local and out of town friends to host their special days. We didn't use all of the services but what services we did use were very helpful and made the day go smoothly. Thank you Sampson's Hollow!!! more
