excellent movers, esp pianos 10/26/2011

used this company because they are listed as piano movers and I own a steinway grand piano. I had to move the piano twice and they obviously knew what they were doing without any hesitations nor problems. On the last move , they also moved old family furniture and we had no issues-they actually went out of the way to help us ---took apart and moved a king bed at the other location that I hadnt asked for before. they were punctual and very reliable and I have no hesitation giving a 5 star rating. steve,setauket,ny Pros: null Cons: null more

Excellent experience 7/22/2011

After many interviews with moving companies my family decided to hire Samona's to move our family locally to our new home. Brian from Samona's came to our home to give us an estimate. He was kind, courteous and honest. We hired the company and were very happy the day of our move. The movers were all very courteous and efficient. The entire move went very smoothly and we could not be happier. They also offered a very good price! more

Best Moving Company ever used 4/16/2011

In all the moving compines we have ever used they were by far the best!! On time, estimate was accurate, professional, and not 1 broken glass!!! They even made a stressfull process actually much better. Would def. use again!!! Thanks!! more

Excellent Moving Experience! 6/16/2010

This move was made easy by Don, Brian, and the other guys on my job. I had them pack the contents of my home and move them to my new home. They were cautious with my belongings and also my homes. They removed my front door and padded all my railings to avoid any damage to my home. Pros: Every Aspect Cons: None more

Samonas Prime Moving moved a "home" of 18+ years. They were very efficient and professional in moving some very large and heavy pieces of furniture. They also took care in unpacking and placing these treasures in their new home. I would recommend no other movers. Pros: Excellent, Efficient, and Professional Cons: None more

Kind, Courteous and Efficient 3/30/2010

My family and I have used Samonas Prime Moving and Storage mulitple times to move locally and out of state. They were exceptional every time. The men that work for them are always polite, professional and helpful. It really impressed me when my pregnant wife went to lift a box and one of the employees stopped her and said " your only job today is to relax and point to where the boxes are to go" They went out of there way to make sure everything was where we wanted it and helped put everything back together...this family owned moving company is exceptional!! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to moving locally or out of state. Pros: Always Kind, Courteous and Efficient Cons: NONE more

Great Family Moving Company 3/3/2010

Upon arriving at my mother's home in Florida they discovered that she was unprepared to move. The driver (Don) called me immediately and we discussed our options. He then went and purchased boxes, with his own money, to begin packing my mother's home. When the truck arrived here on Long Island, Don and his crew placed all of her belongings in her new apartment, right where she wanted them.
