The enchiladas at this place is a joke. Tasted like hormel chili dumped on corn tortillas with cheese on top. The refried beans were dried out. I should have known better than to get enchiladas at a non-mexican restaurant. The only thing good at this place was the salad bar. more

One of my faves! 4/6/2009

I live in San Antonio and have not found a better burger in San Antonio than I ate at Sammy's. It was simple, but flavorful, juicy, and delicious. Exactly what you'd expect from a cheeseburger. I've also had the enchiladas there and they were good too. I'm from a small town similary to Castroville and this restaurant makes me feel at home. It's very simple so don't expect a 4 star experience. Just simple comfort food. Pros: Good Food with a down home feel Cons: could use a renovation more
