The food was good however, I ordered just mushrooms, and I got onions(which I am allergic to) and peppers instead. I picked the onions out, no big deal. The delivery was slow, the woman was very pleasant and apologized for the time. Overall its good, just disappointed in the onions. more

Sammy's is normally wonderful with great food, but today I had a bad experience. The delivery guy said he "called me" but he never did, my food came over an hour after the estimated delivery time, and they did not compensate me in any way. I loved this place but I lost a lot of respect for them. Hopefully they can win it back soon. UPDATE: I kept giving Sammy's another chance, and they certainly won me back. That one experience was but but their food is so good and affordable, and they haven't let me down since then after at least a dozen orders. more

Sammy's is wonderful! Not only is their pizza great tasting, but they have also been very helpful to ensure certain food/spices are not on the pizza due to allergies. I definitely recommend them! more

Great service and the best pizza you can find! all my classmates love it! and last time i went there i tryed the fried chicken with mached potatos it was so great! I always hang out there with my friends its a good place to have fun! and to relax and i love watching sports on the big screen projection T.V and the best part is you will always have your wallet full eating there! Pros: 2 thumbs up! Cons: The place is usually busy and theres not much seats most of the time at night time its pact! more

Sammy's is definently the best pizza you'll get in Ithaca. Gino's and chain resteraunts hold nothing up to them. The crust is thin and crispy and doesn't overwhelm the actual pizza. Their place is right in the commons and you can either sit inside or outside, the service is great and you definently get your bang for your buck. more

late night munchies 3/16/2005

Sammy's might not be an authentic New York City pizza place, but who's in a position to judge that after last call at the bars anyway? Location, location, location. It's right downtown next to all late night spots and is always packed out the door. The garlic knots are great and the pizza is the perfect snack to take for the walk back up the hill. more

we got delivery, so i dont know what the ""Ambiance"" is like, but the pizza was sub-par....canned mushrooms, soggy crust.....BLAH. my co-workers seemed to like it ok....but....i would have settled for a chain pizza company..... more
