I attended a wedding cocktail reception here one crispy fall evening, and I was duly impressed. The parking situation in the flats is usually dismal, but the valets took care of that.
A beautiful space with a full dining room and bar with a piano (my hosts had hired a pianist and a sax player for the evening) - full windows look out over the flats and river below.
The food was outstanding, as anyone who knows Sammy's can tell you. Unpredictable but not fussy or pretentious. The staff was wonderful and unobtrusive, and the bartender earned his jar stuffed with tips by the end of the evening.
Overall a very classy, elegant space to host an evening affair.
