Well, this restaurant had its ups and downs. It was definitely quite expensive, plan on $100 per couple, easily. However, the martinis were really, really good. I had the Zebra Pasta (a specialty of the house), which I loved, and my friend had the Chicken Toscana, which he said was good but not great. They had some good (but overpriced) wines by the glass. Dessert was a special of the day, a brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce. It was very much average; not even as good as you would get at a chain restaurant! There is live music playing while you eat, which was nice, and some people got up to dance, so I'm sure they had a nice time. The weirdest thing is that it is SO dark in there at the tables off to the side, you could barely read the menu. The waitress even had to break out a flashlight to show us the dessert menu! It was ridicuous! However, overall... despite the prices, and despite the dimness, and despite the bland dessert... I left with a favorable impression, and I would actually say it was one of the better meals I've had since I moved here a few months ago.
Pros: good food, good music, great martinis
Cons: expensive, very dark, bland dessert
