Best

The service was excellent. My mother and I went for a light dinner but were indecisive about what we wanted. The waiter was so patient and helped us out with our final decision....

After looking over the reviews for this restaurant and some of the similar rBrazilian estaurants, it really seems to me that 'ringers' (staff or friends) have been building up Sam...

Best Brazilian food in SLC 8/27/2002

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food make this our family's favorite dining spot. Pros: Beautiful decor, delicious food, friendly staff Cons: more meat variety, more cheese bread more

Samba Shines 8/27/2002

I am very pleased with my experience at the Samba Grill. The host was friendly and service was prompt. The food was awesome. Compared to Rodizio this beats it hands down. I also like Made in Brazil but this place looks nicer inside. If you haven't tried brazilian ""churrasco"" then definitely make Samba your first experience. Pros: Great food, nice looking inside, large salad bar Cons: sunday=no lunch menu more

Show me the MEATS!!!! 8/26/2002

I walked in knowing that they served meat, thinking that there would only be maybe a handful of different kinds I promised my friend that i would try every kind with her, after 11 different types of meat were tasted they brought out the chicken hearts, a promiseis a promise, and as the birds organ entered my mouth I was surprised by the tenderness of the meat, though my stomach was overflowing I enjoyed all of the food.... more

""Meat""licious !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8/24/2002

Inspired food for the the physical body. Homemade cooking in a large eatery is uncommon these days, but not at Samba Grill. With quality, health in mind the brazilian cuisine has a lot of dishes that surely can optimize any conscious food lover, to a higher level of excitment and immediate satisfaction. Feel the energy from the cozy color-coordinated dining floor that is soothing and relaxing. Clearly a rejuvenating cut aplomb in the industry. Pros: Good food with lots, of fun and relaxing, athmosphere!!!!!!!!!! more

Brazilian Feast & Fiesta 8/19/2002

Incredible brazilian oasis, irresistible taste and gorgeous vivacious surroundings. I think Adam and Eve were Samba Grill's first clients. Alongside good service, this colorful restaurant has a peculiar music flavor in the air that flows load of synergy. It's about time to have a blend of feast and fiesta under the same roof in Utah. Parabens Samba. Pros: in-seat-eat, no waiting, variety Cons: ribs only on fridays more

Deliciously Sublime 8/18/2002

I drove over 800 miles from Southern California and didn't let anyone in the car eat until we were seated at Samba Grill restaurant. These guys have an awesome incredibly delicious array of exquisite food that is beyond belief. I thought we would never reach Samba until after hours, but to my surprise and to the unmistakeable brazilian appeal, the manager told he would leave the lights on for us, and they did. Two thumbs up for Samba! Pros: open late, inexpensive, quality and taste Cons: too many lights, dance floor, xxl shirts more

Bastion of the Discerning Carnivore 6/24/2002

The Samba Grill is the bastion of the carnivore and the best place for a good Brazilian protein fix. They serve all-you-can-eat open-flame grilled meats with a decent salad and sides bar. The roasted pineapple sounds strange, but is an ambrosia from South of the Equator. Samba costs a few bucks less and offers better service than the Rodizio Grill. Lunch is the most cost effective way to experience the grill, but dinner is still under $20. I rate Samba several points higher than Rodizio on service. We took guests from out of town to Rodizio. Since they raise and like to eat beef, we spent the drive building them up for it. In an hour, we were offered 1 beef dish and only one time. When we found Samba they were much quicker and less greedy with the entire selection of meats! more
