First was invited to this place by my Russian friend: he threw a party there. Liked the atmosphere, design, and, most importantly, the food!
Returned there a couple of days later to try everything myself (opposed to my friend's menu). Came on Tuesday. There were less people, and I got perfect service and, again, great food!
I ordered Uzbek soup Shurpa, fried dumplings and, of course, shish-kebabs. My favorite so far is the Chalagach. I couldn't eat everything I ordered - the portions were pretty big, so I asked for a to-go box, that was pleasantly provided by the waitress.
Overall: Think of celebrating my birthday at Samarkand.
