Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse

We were at a retirement get together last nite at Sam Seltzers, and for 40+/- people there was 1 waitress. My husband ordered a rib eye, and it was not a rib eye, it was very tough. He sent it back and had it taken off the bill. I had to ask for the potatoes that were supposed to be with the meal, and when I got home realized I never received the broccoli I had ordered. Many others in the group were also not happy. Sam's has to work harder to take care of it's customers. In addition, if we wanted a drink we had to go to the bar. more

We used to go to Palm Harbor to eat at Sam Seltzer's steakhouse. I couldn't believe our luck when we finally got one in our mall. Yes, it is located at one of the entrances to Gulf View Mall so you can enter from the mall or the parking lot. They take reservations for just 2 people and I always ask for a booth. We have never waited more than a few minutes. The food is to die for. Tender steak, ribs, chicken, etc. The prices start from $9.99. However the best deal of all is on your birthday. You get a whole bottle of wine if you are 21 or older. If you don't finish it then you can take it home. Just remember the Florida law, the bottle has to be in the trunk of your vehicle. Service is 5* as well as the food. Please note that if there are 8 people they will put an 18% tip on your bill. It is still worth every penny. more

I have eaten there many times and never been disapointed. I always choose prime rib. The staff are very helpful. You need to book ahead if you do not want a lot wait when they are busy. One of my favorite steakhouses. more

Sam Seltzer's steakhouse is the only restaurant I love to go to. You can make reservations for as little as two people. Even on the busiest day they get you in within fifteen minutes. The service is excellent. The beef is out of this world. On your birthday you get a free bottle of wine. Yes, the whole bottle. From the minute you walk in until you pay your check is a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and the chain. more
