On Friday, November 21, I called the Galveston Salvation Army to see if meals would be served on Thanksgiving for the many homeless in Galveston. The woman who answered said ""Yes"" they ARE serving on Thanksgiving Day, but since my call, I learned from another source that they are serving every day next week. I asked if any help was needed and got an EMPHATIC ""NO"".
