It was my second trip in six months to this overrated deli....my office is only about 30 feet away from it. I got an Italian foot-long with the works. I could barely see the layer of meat as it was thinner than the Jamaican guy who stuffs himself into a box on the Pearl Street Mall (any hoagie in the NE being a 300lb opera singer). They might call it a grinder in the Boston area, but the only thing that was ground in this meal was the roof of my mouth....it is still seriously sore 15 minutes after forcing the rock-hard roll down my throat (I still had to justify spending the $9). ||
I'm not sure if the comments above were paid to say what they said or what. I have not tried the cheesesteak, but with that roll, I wouldn't take the chance....especially for that outrageous price. ||
To be fair on the price, it is in the central part of tourist area and rent ain't cheap there. Still, no chance of giving Salvaggio's Deli another go for me.
