Way too overpriced 3/6/2012

Why pay almost twice as other stores charge you? All pet food there is overpriced, the customer services are not that great, and a lot of times their feeder mice have some time of desease - they are sick, lethargic, covered with sores, and cannibalize each other. For example, aquarium filters are $199, which cost 140 in Petsmart, and $99 on amazon, cat food is $40 for the same size bag that is $31 in Petsmart or Petco. more

Why pay their prices when you can go somewhere else? 11/29/2005

I would not recommend Saluda River Pet Food and Supply center to anyone. Their prices are to high. Their dog, cat, and bird food is almost two times the price of other stores. Also, the service is not the greatest. The employees do not try to help as much as other places do. Saluda River is not a store I would go back to. more

great store 11/3/2005

We buy most of our dog food here because they have such a great selection and wonderful prices. You also don't have to fight the crowd at bigger stores if you need to just pick up dog supplies. They also have every thing we need in stock so we don't have to order it. The customer service is wonderful. They will carry your dog food out to the car for you if you need them too. more

Excellent Customer Service 7/27/2005

We bought a large cedar dog house at Saluda River Pet Food & Supply Center. It has held up nicely in all sorts of weather. We have been very pleased with the purchase. Also, we often times will buy our dog's food at Saluda River. The employees always help me to the car with the enormous bag of dog food. You do not even have to ask for help. They are also very helpful and knowledgeable when I have questions about pet care. more
