My Implants 8/30/2013

When I called Dr Saltzman's office the girl that answered the phone was so nice anc got me in the same day. I was having trouble with my teeth. When I came into the office they were very nice. When I saw Dr Saltzman he took his time with me and explained that my teeth could not be saved and that I needed implants. Then I found out they had Care Credit and I could get them all done at one time. He sat down with me and explained the procedure and answered all my questions. Since I needed multiple implants I decided to be sedated. They took me the next day! They put an drip in my arm just like at the hospital and I went to sleep and when I woke up it was DONE! I didn't feel a thing after I got home . I came back 2 weeks later and they took out my stitches and didn't hurt me a bit. If I ever need anymore work done I'm calling Dr Saltzman and his staff!! They really impressed me! more

Very Pleased! 8/30/2013

As a patient of Dr Saltzman I can say you are truly in good hands! He and his staff are kind, compassionate and very professional. My first visit was due to a cracked tooth, which was infected. I had previously had a root canal and crown on this tooth and I was very concerned about losing my tooth. Dr Saltzman's assistant, June was very sweet and immediately made me feel at ease. When Dr Saltzman examined my tooth and determined that it could not be saved I was not happy but he explained everything in great detail. He took his time and answered all of my questions. He discussed all my treatment options with me and made me feel very comfortable. My tooth had to be extracted. Since I was a little anxious about losing my tooth Dr Saltzman recommended IV Sedation for my procedure. I can't say enough wonderful things about the IV sedation! I did not feel a thing, I slept right through the whole procedure and the best part is I didn't remember a thing! Dr Saltzman also accepted more

MONEY HUNGRY 4/23/2012

Dr. Saltzman is about the money and only the money. When my 23 yr old indigent daughter requested a referral to the La, School of Dentistry, she was laughed at by Dr Saltzman and his staff and told "I work off referrals, I don't make referrals".Furthermore: I was personally a patient of Saltzman; in fact one of his first. When I arrived in his brand new office in serious pain, I was made to wait 15 agonizing minutes before he would even speak to me. He needed to be certain my check would clear.Wanting to be paid is one thing but, lack of compassion is a whole other issue when you're a doctor. more

worst dentist ever 4/12/2012

This dentist will not allow parents in the back with their child. I know why now, but it was at the expence of my child. This so called dentist cut my childs gum 1/2"" long and a 1/16"" deep. Dr. Saltzman told her that he ""did not hurt her that he knows when something hurts and he didn't hurt her."" She asked for me (her mother) to come to the room with her after this and he told her to leave. So we did. As a result of this I am writing this complaint and I will be contacting the BBB and the Louisiana Dentistry Board. In my opinion he is a horriable dentist and wouldn't let him work on my dogs teeth. more
