My husband and I started going to Sal's Pizza (now Pomorodos Italian Kitchen) when I was pregnant with my son; we got hooked on their pizza and ate their every week for at least four months! Now my son is 2 years old and we still head there on the weekends for their awesome pizza. Cheese and pepperoni is outstanding but the veggie pizza is also awesome when you need a break from the traditional fare. Also their manicotti is fabulous and lasagna really does taste like homemade. Salads portions are generous and fresh; mozarella sticks and calamari are Y-U-M-M-Y! Everywhere we go we try different pizza but we rarely find anything that stacks up to Pomodoros!\r

Service is hit-or-miss; sometimes it's great and sometimes it's sorely lacking. But the atmosphere is very family-friendly (our son does laps around the restaurant talking to people while we finish up our meal, and the servers are super-accomodating and sweet) and the beer and wine is inexpensive. They accomodate large parties (we had 20 people once for a birthday gathering!) So grab your family and check it out sometime!
Pros: Excellent food, inexpensive drinks
Cons: Service is hit-or-miss, atmosphere is nothing to write home about
